Her debut studio album True Romance was released in April of 2013. Critics gave it favorable reviews. In its debut week the album climbed to no. 85 on U.K. Chart. Charli XCX immediately began working on her next studio album. In the next few months, she appeared in the smash hit track Fancy by Australian singer Iggy Azalea. It was the number-one song on the Billboard Hot 100. She released her debut in the month of December. The album was an international hit. It was number 28 of the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. The album received positive reviews. Break the Rules was the title track from the album Break The Rules is a major international hit. In July of 2015, she announced that she was working on her third album.
