Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a child of the mixed race family of South London in England. Her father and mother were both English. She grew in an estate in south London community estate, as a teenager, she 14she enrolled in The Brit School. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned a BA degree in acting. At the academy, she appeared in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her career as an actor with the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has been a guest star in Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following that she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role in the ITV2 comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred in the 2008 Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama show was telecast on The CW for only two episodes before being ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. In late May 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe, who played a regular role in the past two seasons, would be leaving the show after a guest-appearance in the premier episode of the new season. In the TV series Salem the actress played Tituba between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe married her actor partner Iddo goldberg on June 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared together in Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty along with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because her brothers, who were all athletic, played baseball, hockey, and both in the spring and summer. Ashley did not have the ability to walk, but she danced. At the age of two, she began Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley became a dancer from that moment. Ashley competed in ballet, tap and jazz in high divisions. The important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top individualist".
